software product development and consulting organization based in US was in need
a collaborative platform for documents and knowledge sharing and project
management.
Solution:
Anagha Group implemented Microsoft SharePoint Services based on Microsoft
Windows 2003 server. The organization is headquartered in US and its research
and development center is located in Asia Pacific region, where most of the
technical staff and engineers are based. The solution helped the organization
share the document libraries, product documents, and project management in a
more collaborative and effective manner.
Technology:
Microsoft Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 (2007) was installed with MS
SQL Server 2005 on a Microsoft Windows 2003 Small Business Server.
Methodology:
Anagha Group used its on-site Microsoft Consulting staff to implement the
SharePoint solution and assisted the users.
Results:
The technical, marketing, sales and customer support teams were able to get a
full view of the knowledge base and ongoing projects. Redundant data points were
eliminated and version maintenance got simplified. The customer’s global
